Phonics - Phonemes (Consonant)
Do you know the sound for each letter of the alphabet?

Phonics - Phonemes (Consonant)

This quiz takes a look at Phonemes (Consonants) and works on the children’s knowledge of the 24 consonant phonemes. A phoneme is a sound and this quiz focuses on the sounds made by consonants, either individual or two letters. This is the expected way for children to learn how to read, as set out by the National Curriculum and extends from the learning made in Reception. It will also help KS1 students in their English and Literacy classes.

To help us read, we learn the sounds that the letters make. There are 24 consonant phonemes. Test your knowledge of these sounds.
