Negative Numbers (Medium)
This is a washing line, not a numbers line!

Negative Numbers (Medium)

Numbers that are below zero are known as negative numbers. This is the first of our quizzes on negative numbers. If you think there is no use for negative numbers, think again: when the temperature falls below zero, it is recorded as a negative temperature, e.g. -5°C. If you owe money to the bank, your balance becomes negative.

To make it easier for you we've added number lines to all the questions. It might be helpful if you use your pencil or pen to count along the number line - and above all, remember to go the correct way!

Okay! Be positive and do this 11-plus Maths quiz.
