Year 1 Numbers - Number Patterns

This quiz addresses the requirements of the National Curriculum KS1 Maths and Numeracy for children aged 5 and 6 in year 1. Specifically this quiz is aimed at the section dealing with recognising number patterns.

Recognising number patterns is taught very early on in KS1. To begin with, children will learn to recognise simple patterns which go up or down in ones and then use their knowledge of odd or even numbers, as well as a developing understanding of multiples of 5 or 10 to recognise other sequences, perhaps even developing their own patterns and sequences.
