Year 2 Time - Units of Time

This quiz addresses the requirements of the National Curriculum KS1 Maths and Numeracy for children aged 6 and 7 in year 2. Specifically this quiz is aimed at the section dealing with comparing and sequencing intervals of time and knowing the number of minutes in an hour and the number of hours in a day.

Understanding units of time well includes an ability to compare them and to understand how some intervals of time are longer than others. Comparing intervals also requires a firm understanding of the number of minutes in an hour (or half an hour) and the number of hours in a day.
