This quiz addresses the requirements of the National Curriculum KS1 Science for children aged 5 and 6 in years 1 and 2. Specifically this quiz is aimed at the section dealing with animals which are carnivores, herbivores or omnivores.
All animals have to eat food to live and grow. Some animals eat only plants. They are called herbivores. Some animals eat only meat. They are called carnivores. Some animals eat both plants and meat. They are called omnivores. Which animals are herbivores? Which are carnivores? Which are omnivores? You can group animals by what they eat.
