Key Stage 3 deals with the school years 7 to 9. In 2010/2011 there is no statutory requirement for SATS tests (Standard Attainment Tests) at the end of Key Stage 3. However, there is a requirement for teachers at this level to comply with what is known as TARA (Teacher Assessment and Reporting Arrangements).
