Insects and spiders can be spotted without even having to leave the front door!
There are more species of insect in the world (over a million) than any other group, representing about 80 percent of the world’s species. Insects are found in practically all environments, but only a few species inhabit the oceans.
Spiders, a distant relative of insects, are also a diverse and interesting group. These creepy crawlies are often feared and disliked by humans. In fact arachnophobia (an irrational fear of spiders) is among the most common of all phobias. However, spiders have important roles to play in medical and forensic science, or by preying on insect pests.
Each quiz consists of 10 questions and each question has 4 multiple choice answers. At the top of each quiz you are given a choice of how you want to play it and this affects what happens when you provide an incorrect answer.
