The world of sport is very important in our lives. Not only
does it entertain and thrill us, most sports are big businesses and make huge

The first Olympic Games were held in approximately 776 BC in
Greece.
They were in honour of the Greek god of sky and thunder, Zeus. The Olympic
Games have come to be regarded as the world's foremost sports competition. Over
200 nations participate. In 2012, The Games are being held in London from 27th July to 12th August.
Our sportsmen and sportswomen are not only extremely fit and
dedicated, but they are almost revered by their adoring fans. To be top of your
sport is to be idolised and there are lucrative offers to be taken to earn even
