Vocabulary - Birds of a Feather Flock Together

Now that you are in the Spanish Difficult Review quiz series it is time to add to that earlier list of these amazing creatures!

These creatures are, of course, birds, and bird watching is a huge hobby around the world. You will need a good pair of binoculars to find some of them, however. Whether or not you are into locating birds, once you do start, you will see how quickly it can become a habit of trying to identify them. Now you can even identify them in two different languages! So let’s look as some of these amazing wonders and items that might be associated with them, as they are spoke in Spanish!

Did you notice something different with the Spanish word for 'penguin'? It is 'pingüino'. Notice that above the 'u' there are two dots. This is another type of accent mark used in Spanish. It is not seen often and in 'American Spanish' it is generally not used. However, you should be aware that in certain words, you may see it.
