Writing stories or information from recollection is helpful to a student. They can gather their own thoughts and write them down in a structured writing assignment. This would also ensure that students aren’t plagiarizing. Students also enjoy writing about their own experiences. In this quiz, the students will answer questions about recalling information from their own experiences or sources.

Beavers

The beaver is an animal known for its long teeth. Beavers usually build dams. They do this by chewing through wood like maple and oak trees. The trees then fall down. This blocks the water from moving.

Many hunters like to kill beavers. They use the beavers for their fur. They can sell the fur for lots of money. A long time ago, beavers were hunted for their fur. Today, they are still hunted.

Baby beavers usually live with their adult mom and dad beaver close to a river. For a month, the baby beaver will live in a lodge. Most of the time, these baby beavers will help their parents by getting food or defending the lodge.

Beavers want to keep their own territory. They do not want other animals living near their lodge. Sometimes, the beaver will use mud or dirt to show that this is their lodge. Other beavers must stay away.
