Shapes can be similar due to the amount of lines or direction they face. There are many different reasons, so take a real good look before making your final decision. In each question that follows, the two shapes on the left have one or more features which make them similar to each other. You must find the figure on the right which is most similar to the ones on the left.

Similarities might be based on shading, outlines or the number of shapes in a figure. It might be based on the rotation or reflection of the shapes in a figure, or on any combination of all the above features. Just because an answer from A, B, C or D has one feature in common with 1 and 2 does not necessarily make it the most similar. Watch out for tricky answers.

As you come to the end of these Similar Shapes quizzes, remember the words of Abraham Lincoln, when he said, "I do the very best I know how - the very best I can; and I mean to keep on doing so until the end." So do your best until the end and enjoy Similar Shapes quiz number 7.
