Congratulations – you have made it to the last of our Eleven Plus Verbal Reasoning quizzes on Letters for Symbols Codes. Well done for making it this far! Many children struggle with these kinds of questions, so the more practise you get, the better.
Remember to look for patterns in the words you are given – double letters, repeating letters, letters which start and end words, etc. When you find any of these, look for the same patterns in the codes you are given. If the patterns match, you’ve found the code for that word. Once you have one word then you should be able to work out the code for another and then you will be able to write a new word in the same code.
Please make sure you don’t rush – silly mistakes are all too often seen when candidates rush through their questions. And now for the quiz. Good luck!
