The End Sound zz is a quiz that helps KS1 children learn the spellings for words that end with the ‘z’ sound. The words are taken from and added to those written in the National Curriculum.
If a word ends in a ‘z’ sound, it will be written like this: ‘zz’. If the vowel in the word is short then the next letters will be doubled. Test your knowledge on these spellings.
