English Quiz - Adjectives 2 (Questions)

This quiz is for Year 2 pupils at KS1 level based on the National Curriculum's requirement that they use expanded noun phrases in their writing. Adjectives 2 follows on from the Adjectives 1 quiz and also works to develop their comprehension, literacy and English skills.

When writing, we add description by including adjectives. Adjectives are words that describe a noun. We need to make sure we include an appropriate adjective, like ‘green grass’. It wouldn’t make sense if we wrote ‘friendly grass’. The words ‘green’ and ‘friendly’ are both adjectives but only one is correct.
