This quiz addresses the requirements of the National Curriculum KS1 Maths and Numeracy for children aged 5 and 6 in year 1. Specifically this quiz is aimed at the section dealing with knowing the months of the year.
Year 1 children should know the months of the year in order. They should begin to learn which months come before and after a given month and may even recognise events which may happen in certain months. They should also know that the months of the year all begin with capital letters.
