The royal robot wore a round crown. Test your spelling of words beginning at ro.
"So if you're a robot and you're living on this planet, you can do things that you can't do in real life - things that you wished you could do; like fly, like have a car that flies; like have furniture that is alive." - William Joyce.
For a simple word, "planet" has been through many changes. The word was borrowed from the French planete, but even then the word had many forms: planete, plannete, planet and planette. It's almost as if someone were testing out the spelling to see which one looks right! Once the word was borrowed into English, planit, plenit, planett, plannet, plannette and many other versions were used. If you ever spell the word "planet" incorrectly, you can tell your teacher you were experimenting with 15th and 16th century spellings!
