Health Education Quiz - Healthy Snacks - Age 7-11 (Questions)

Eating a balanced diet is a recurrent theme in PSHE. In this quiz, written for children in KS2, we help them to understand why it is important to make sure their snacks are healthy and give them some ideas as to what to choose.

Sometimes you can get hungry between meals and you might choose to have a snack. This is absolutely fine, as long as you are choosing healthy ones. You might already have a favourite snack but do you know how healthy it is? It is important to listen to your body and make sure that you are eating healthy snacks when you are hungry and not because you are bored.

If you eat too many snacks, your body may struggle to process it. In a similar way, if you do not eat enough food your body will react in a negative way as it requires food to function effectively.
