II Chronicles includes King Soloman.
The Second Book of Chronicles is the fourteenth book in the Bible. It covers the period from King Solomon's rule until the Israelites release from bondage in Babylon; a period of around 430 years. Unlike the Books of Kings, II Chronicles details only the history of Judah. It is an account of King David's family line through the kings of the southern kingdom and so the northern kingdom of Israel is rarely mentioned.

Because Rehoboam had neglected God's commandments, God allowed the Egyptian King Shishak to ransack Jerusalem. But because the king of Judah turned back to God, the city was not destroyed.
II Chronicles 12:6-7 "Whereupon the princes of Israel and the king humbled themselves; and they said, The Lord is righteous. And when the Lord saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the Lord came to Shemaiah, saying, They have humbled themselves; therefore I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance; and my wrath shall not be poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak" |

II Chronicles 18:26-27
"and say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I return in peace. King Ahab died in the battle and his blood was licked by dogs, just as the prophet Elijah had foretold |

II Chronicles 32:21
"And the Lord sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. The prophet Jeremiah had said that the land must rest for seventy years to make up for the years when the people refused to observe the Sabbath.
II Chronicles 36:21 "to fulfil the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years" |
II Chronicles 36:23
"Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the Lord God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? The Lord his God be with him, and let him go up." Cyrus, who was king of Persia from 559-530 BC, conquered Babylon and freed the Jews who were there. Cyrus commanded the largest empire that the world had ever seen |
"Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and threescore and six talents of gold."
666 talents of gold is 19.66 tons - that's a lot of gold!
