This quiz, Obadiah, includes the race of Edomites.
The fourth Book of the Minor Prophets, and the thirty-first of the Bible, is the Book of Obadiah. It is the shortest book in the whole of the Old Testament, containing only one chapter and twenty-one verses. The book gives us an example of how God will punish the enemies of Judah. It is a warning to one nation to the south of Judah which did not come to the Israelites' aid when they were in danger, but rather they looted and gloated over Judah and its people. God will punish this nation and Obadiah tells them of their coming judgement.

Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity; neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress" |

We have heard a rumour from the Lord,
and an ambassador is sent among the heathen,
Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle"
