Story 1 - Lost Money

Sandy cried. She had lost her money. There was a hole in her pocket. It must have fallen out this morning. Sandy ran back to her mother.

“Have you seen my money?” Sandy asked. Sandy’s mother shook her head no. Sandy then ran into her brother’s room.

“Have you seen my money?” Sandy asked. Her brother shook his head no. Sandy then went to her piggy bank. She got the money out. The money she lost was in her piggy bank.

Story 2 - Scared Matt

Matt pulls his covers up. He should be asleep. It is late. He can’t sleep. He hears noises. He listens. There is silence for about two minutes. Then he hears a sound. He looks around his room. He sees nothing. Matt is scared. He hears the sound again. Then his dog jumps onto Matt’s bed. Matt knows the noise is his dog.
