You have made it to the third of our Eleven Plus maths quizzes on Multiples. Multiples are one of the easiest things in maths – as long as you know your times tables that is! In this quiz we have a mix of questions: finding common multiples between numbers, spotting the odd man out, and some facts about multiples.
The easiest way to work out multiples is to learn your times tables by heart. For example, if you know your 6 times table you will be able to spot instantly which number does not belong in this list: 12, 18, 24, 37, 42.
I hope you spotted that 37 is not a multiple of 6! See how simple it is? Now try your hand at this quiz. Take your time and don’t rush to answer the questions – some of them are not as easy as the example I gave, and you may have to give your brain cells some exercise! Good luck.
