The English alphabet has 26 letters, sometimes we write them as upper case letters (ABC) and sometimes they are lower case letters (abc). When you start a sentence, you should always begin with an upper case letter. Your name will start with an upper case letter and the rest will be lower case. Test your knowledge on letters.

If you ever write the word ‘I’ as in: ‘I like pizza’ then it must always be a capital letter. If the letter ‘I’ is alone it is brave and hard like ice but when it has other letters join it, the ‘i’ goes small again unless it is at the beginning of a sentence.
