This quiz addresses part of the requirements of the National Curriculum KS1 for children aged 5 and 6 in years 1 and 2 in Geography. Specifically it looks at the different parts of the world such as hemispheres, poles and the equator. It is one of 50 quizzes to help you understand the world around you.
In geography you find out about people and places. You find out about the place where you live. But you also find out about other parts of the world. The Earth is the planet we all live on. What is it like? Where on the Earth is it cold, and where in the world is it hot? What are the poles? Where is the equator? What are the hemispheres? This quiz tests you on how much you know about the different parts of our planet.
