History Quiz - Recent History 1 (Questions)

This quiz addresses the requirements of the National Curriculum KS1 History for children aged 5, 6 and 7 in years 1 and 2. Specifically this quiz is aimed at the section dealing with historical figures, understanding the lives of significant people from history and stories from different historical periods, in particular, in recent times.

As KS1 children develop their understanding of different historical figures and times, they will begin to understand that some events happened a very long time ago, and some are more recent. This may only be 30 or 40 years ago, or may even have been during their own lives. This is the first of two quizzes looking at the lives of historical figures of recent times.
