This quiz addresses the requirements of the National Curriculum KS1 Maths and Numeracy for children aged 5 and 6 in year 1. Specifically this quiz is aimed at the section dealing with counting on from any given number.

In Year 1 children are taught to count on from a given number. This simply means being able to count up correctly in ones from any number. Depending on the number given this can be easy: 23, 24, 25, 26... but sometimes it can be a little harder, for example when crossing over from one multiple of ten to another: 38, 39, 40, 41.
