This quiz addresses the requirements of the National Curriculum KS1 Maths and Numeracy for children aged 5 and 6 in year 1. Specifically this quiz is aimed at the section dealing with recognising ordinal numbers.
Recognising ordinal numbers such as first, second and third means being able to understand the position the numbers (or runners or people queuing) take, as well as what comes before and after each one.
Playing this quiz will help develop a child's ability to recognise the ordinal numbers of first, second, third, fourth and fifth.
