This quiz addresses the requirements of the National Curriculum KS1 Maths and Numeracy for children aged 5 and 6 in year 1. Specifically this quiz is aimed at the section dealing with knowing the days of the week.
In Year 1 children should come to know the days of the week in their proper order. They should begin to learn which days come before and after a given day and may even recognise events which may happen on certain days. They should also know that each of the days of the week begin with capital letters.
