This quiz addresses the requirements of the National Curriculum KS1 Maths and Numeracy for children aged 6 and 7 in year 2. Specifically this quiz is aimed at the section dealing with counting in steps of three.
Learning to count up and down in steps of three is usually a progression for Year 2 children, once they have secured counting up and down in twos, fives and tens. Children may learn to count in steps of three by chanting, using a number line or colouring patterns on a hundred square.
