PSHE Quiz - Healthy Snacks (Questions)

This KS2 PSHE quiz will help you understand why it is important to make sure your snacks are healthy and give you some ideas as to what to choose.

In order to stay healthy it is often advised that we eat a balanced diet of three meals a day, drink plenty of water and exercise on a regular basis. Sometimes you can get hungry between meals and you might choose to have a snack, especially if you have been taking part in exercise and burning off some energy. This is absolutely fine, as long as you are choosing healthy snacks. You might already have a favourite snack but do you know how healthy it is? It is important to listen to your body and make sure that you are eating healthy snacks when they are required and not because you are bored. If you do not listen to your body and eat too many snacks, your body may struggle to process the extra food which will make you feel lethargic and could result in weight gain. In a similar way, if you do not eat enough food your body will react in a negative way as it requires food to function effectively.
