The 20th Century saw some of the most epic children’s books - JRR Tolkien’s The Hobbit, CS Lewis’ Chronicles of Narnia and JK Rowling’s Harry Potter series spring instantly to mind. It also introduced us to a variety of anthropomorphic creatures including AA Milne’s Winnie the Pooh and Kenneth Grahame’s Mole, Rat, Toad and Badger from Wind in the Willows. Whoever your favourite children’s writer, I hope you’ve come across them at least once in this series of quizzes. If you haven't yet then maybe you'll find them in this last one.
Are you old enough to remember the writing of Lucy Maud Montgomery or young enough to have enjoyed the Harry Potter books? Whenever you were born you will find questions to suit your taste in this, the last in our series of children's literature quizzes. Have a go and see if you can score ten out of ten!
