Verbal Reasoning Quiz - Complete the Word 2 (Questions)

Complete the Word tests you to find the hidden word.

As with 'Complete the Word 1', these sentences each contain a word in CAALS with a common three-letter word missing from it (in this case, PIT ... as you probably realised).

This time, though, the words are not all names of animals, though they are usually common enough words in their own right.

If you think these questions are quite difficult, you could find it helpful to say the sentence out loud. The missing word might be easier to spot that way. Alternatively you could try adding each of the answers into the word on a piece of paper and see which one fits.

Do your best in this 11-plus verbal reasoning quiz and see if you can get top marks.
