To understand letter series, count the number of places from one letter to the next.
In these 11-plus verbal reasoning quizzes you will be given a sequence of letters, and you have to find the next group in the series. There will always be two letters in the pattern, and always five sets of two letters in the question. You must find the sixth.
Remember to have a pad and pencil nearby. When the 11+ exam is looming, it's a good idea to spend half an hour each day playing our quizzes, whether they are verbal reasoning or non-verbal reasoning. This will stand you a better chance of success in the exam.
