Be a busy bee and make it your business to improve your spelling of words beginning at bu in this KS3 quiz.
“A synonym is a word you use when you can't spell the other one.” - Baltasar Gracian
Although the quote above is, of course, a joke, there is a grain of truth in it. The greater your vocabulary, the more likely you will be to find an alternate way to get your message across. This can be especially useful when you find that you've been repeatedly using the same word, when the grammar of your sentence seems to be becoming snarled-up, or when you just can't seem to spell a word you wish to use. Nevertheless, it is a good idea to practise your spellings to avoid such issues and in order to develop a fluent writing style.
