Don't freeze while putting up the frieze! See how good your KS3 spelling is with words beginning at fr.
"The first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of a world and wake up in another quite different, and if this is not enchantment then where is it to be found?" - J.B. Priestley.
Have you ever played one of those games where you are asked to change one word into another by only changing one letter at a time, and each step must represent an actual word? "World" can become "would", which can become "wound", which can become "sound", which can become "mound". Did you know that "mound" is even related to "world" in its meaning? "World" is from the Old English weoruld and "mound" is from the Old French mund, meaning - you guessed it - "world"! Playing word games improves your vocabulary and can even be fun.
