This Spanish Easy Review vocabulary quiz is going to cover the days of the week. There is one main, major difference between writing the days of the week in English and writing them in Spanish. That difference has to do with capitalization. In English, we capitalize the days of the week. In Spanish you have the choice to capitalize or not capitalize the days depending upon the circumstances in which they appear. Generally, however, they are not capitalized. The circumstances in which they would be capitalized is when they come at the beginning of a sentence. For example, in English we would say 'Today is Monday.' In Spanish it would be 'Today is lunes.' However, if you were to say 'Monday is here.' In Spanish it would be 'Lunes is here.' The condition makes it acceptable to capitalize it.
