The outspoken entrepreneur and engineer, Elon Musk, was in the news in December 2019. During the rescue of twelve boys from a cave in which they were trapped, he sent a small submarine to help. The boys were rescued, though the sub was not used. Vernon Unsworth, the man in charge of the recue, branded Musk’s actions as “a PR stunt”, prompting Musk to use a derogatory term - which we shan't go into here!
Mr Unsworth took Musk to court for damaging his reputation. He lost the case because Musk’s words were classed as an insult, rather than an accusation. Which leaves me wondering, can we say whatever we like about people via the internet? It certainly seems so.
Elon Musk certainly courts controversy, but there is no doubting that he has a great mind. How much do you know about the man, his inventions and his businesses? Find out by playing this fun quiz.
