This Spanish Difficult Review quiz will take a look at the names of various countries as they are spoken in Spanish. You had a very similar quiz as this one back in the Spanish Medium Review quiz series. In that quiz, you learned that there are approximately 196 countries, although borders are constantly changing. You also learned the Spanish name for 50 of those 196 countries. In this quiz you will learn another 37 countries.
Many countries are spelled the same in both English and Spanish so why learn the countries? Because even though many are spelled the same, they are not always pronounced the same. You will need to depend upon what you have learned about Spanish pronunciation to say the country names correctly.
[readmore]
Although the task of locating these countries in the written form is relatively easy, when you get to the point of speaking the language, pronunciation will be everything. Otherwise, you will get some very strange stares. Therefore, please practice saying each country with their proper Spanish pronunciations and listen to and look at how they are spelled as some may have accent marks. Now let’s look at some additional countries of the world.

You might want to have a geography book with you to take this test as the test questions will be about a specific country. For the answers provided, you will need to determine which country the information is telling you about. Again, the main focus of this quiz is to learn how to say the country’s name in Spanish. You do not have to focus on the information related to each country – but that wouldn’t be a bad thing either. So if you are ready, begin the quiz section.
