In the Spanish Easy Review quiz series you learned how to create simple sentences in Spanish. You also learned that the structure of a sentence in Spanish often differs from that in English. For example, in English we would say: She is John’s sister. In Spanish we would say it as: She is the sister of John. In other words: Ella es la hermana de Juan. There are a number of other sentence structures to remember. If you would like a refresher on those, please look back at the Spanish Easy Review quiz titled Writing: Simple Sentence Structure! as it will provide you with more details. As for this Spanish Medium Review quiz, you will now get the opportunity to start putting two sentences together.

In the Spanish Easy Review series you had a somewhat limited vocabulary list by the time you reached the writing quizzes. Now, however, after going through a large number of your Spanish Medium Review quizzes, that vocabulary list has grown by leaps and bounds. In addition, you have become more familiar with the Spanish language overall. As such, it is now time to go beyond the simple sentence and start combining sentences together. This process will help you on your way to eventually being able to have a conversation in Spanish. You are not there yet but you are most definitely on your way to there. For now, however, let’s focus on just putting two sentences together.
There will be two quizzes on this topic. This is the first quiz and for the first quiz you will be shown two sentences in English and you will need to find the correct translation from the answers given. Before you begin, however, remember – this is a WRITING QUIZ. That means that part of your task is to WRITE. So, grab some paper and a pen or pencil and see if you can translate the English sentences on your own into Spanish – without looking at the answers. Then see if you can match up your translation with one that has been given. Be sure to choose the answer that you believe shows the correct translation.
Okay then, do you have your paper and pen? Fantastic! Now you may begin the quiz!
