This Christianity RE Quiz asks KS1 children questions on the basics of Christianity and the Bible. This knowledge would be gained either from RE lessons, assemblies or school plays.

Christianity is a religion and if you follow this religion, you are called a Christian. Can you answer these questions?

    Jesus was put on a cross and died but was resurrected (returned from the dead).

    Lots of people follow different religions in England but the main religion is Church of England, which is Christianity.
  3. Where do some Christians go on Sundays to worship their god?
    Christians can go to church on any day but they believe Sunday is a holy day.
  4. Many Christians wear this symbol and it was what Jesus was nailed to - what is it?
    Some wear a plain cross and others wear one with Jesus on it.
  5. From this list, who do Christians pray to?
    Many pray to God, Jesus and sometimes Mary.
  6. What book do Christians read from in church?
    The Bible is sectioned in two parts: the Old and New Testament.
  7. Where was Jesus born?
    Joseph and Mary had to travel to Bethlehem after being thrown out of Nazareth.
  8. How many commandments are there?
    These ten commandments were carved into the rock by God.
  9. Why do Christians celebrate Christmas?
    Many people celebrate Christmas, even people that aren't religious at all.
  10. Jesus is considered the son of....
    Joseph and Mary were married but God is considered to be Jesus' father.
