At Education Quizzes, we believe AI should help children learn safely, simply, and responsibly. That’s why we’ve created this Ethical AI Usage Policy – a plain-English guide to how we use AI on our site.
- Our AI is designed with strict boundaries.
- It only talks about learning and curriculum topics – nothing else.
- We use carefully written prompts to make sure conversations stay safe and age-appropriate.
- KS1 (ages 5–7): Simple, gentle language.
- KS2 & 11 Plus (ages 7–11): Clear explanations with examples children understand.
- KS3 (ages 11–14): More detail and depth, but still in plain English.
- GCSE (ages 14–17): Serious study support, with exam-focused guidance.
- Adults: Professional language, suitable for parents, teachers, and older learners.
- AI answers are labelled as such – children will always know they are “chatting with Lucy” (our friendly Safe AI).
- We never pretend Lucy is a human.
- If Lucy doesn’t know the answer, she will say so rather than guess.
- We do not collect personal information from children beyond what is essential to run the quizzes and AI safely.
- Data is never sold, shared, or used for advertising.
- All data is stored securely and deleted regularly in line with our Privacy Policy.
- Every quiz question is written by experienced teachers and mapped to the UK National Curriculum.
- The AI is there to support learning – not replace teachers, parents, or tutors.
- AI is used to encourage curiosity, explain tricky concepts, and give instant feedback.
- Our team reviews how the AI is being used every day.
- We keep up to date with UK and international best practice for AI in education.
- Parents and teachers can contact us at any time with questions or concerns.
Our AI is safe, ethical, and built for learning.
It exists to make studying easier, not riskier. Children stay safe, parents stay reassured, and teachers stay supported.
