Ledger lines are used to notate pitches.
In Grade Two you started to use ledger lines in both the treble and bass clefs. In Grade Three you need to be familiar with reading notes that use more than two ledger lines. Keep the same pattern of notes in your head when trying to figure them out A B C D E F G and then back to A again.
