Year 1 Numbers - Recognising Numbers in Words
The number 10. Do you know what it looks like when it is spelt in letters?

Year 1 Numbers - Recognising Numbers in Words

This quiz addresses the requirements of the National Curriculum KS1 Maths and Numeracy for children aged 5 and 6 in year 1. Specifically, this quiz is aimed at the section dealing with recognising numbers when they are written in words.

Recognising numbers when they are written in words is all part of understanding numbers and the numbers system. We don't always use digits when we write numbers, sometimes words have to be used instead - perhaps when writing a story or even a cheque - so it is important that children learn to recognise them.

Try this quiz to see how well you do with recognising numbers when they are written in words.
