Year 1 - The Sound ai

The Sound ai tests KS1 children on words that include that sound. The words tested have been taken and added to those in the National Curriculum.

The ‘ai’ sound is used within many words and more often than not, a consonant will follow that sound. There are a few words that should be spelt with this sound. Improve your spelling skills in this quiz.
