A noun in KS1 is a naming word. It can name a person, place, animal, object or even an idea, such as teacher, house, cat or fun.

What does impact mean for children?

For children, impact means the effect something has. For example, rain can have an impact on a game, or a story can have an impact on how someone thinks.

What does agent mean in a sentence?

In a sentence, agent means a person who does something important for someone else or has a special role. It is a noun because it names a person.
