Fascinating Fact:

Plastic can sometimes bend without breaking. Some plastic is hard and strong too.

In KS1 Vocabulary, children learn that adjectives are words that describe people, places and things. These words help children talk about materials and how long something lasts.

  • Adjective: A word that describes a noun.
  • Permanent: Lasting for a very long time and not meant to change.
  • Plastic: Made from a material that can be light, bendy or strong.
