What is an adjective in KS1?

An adjective in KS1 is a describing word. It tells us more about a noun, such as a person, place, animal or object.

What does friendly mean for children?

For children, friendly means kind and easy to like. A friendly person might smile, share, speak gently and help others feel welcome.

What does lucky mean in simple words?

Lucky means something good happens by chance. A child might feel lucky if they find a coin, win a prize or get a sunny playtime.
