This Spanish Medium Review quiz will begin your journey of reviewing how to conjugate verbs in the present tense. In the Spanish Easy Review quiz series, you were introduced to the Spanish verbs. You learned that verbs were either AR, ER or IR verbs. You also learned that they were either regular verbs or irregular verbs.
The regular verbs were all conjugated the same. Irregular verbs often changed the base form of the verb. For example, look at the verb for 'to go' in Spanish. That is 'ir'. When you conjugate a verb you drop the AR, ER or IR ending and use the root form of the verb that goes with its corresponding pronoun. With the verb 'ir', when you drop the IR ending you have nothing left to work with so what do you do?
If you remember, 'I go' became 'voy'. It continued on to be conjugated as: vas, va, vamos, vais and van. This looks very similar to how AR verbs are conjugated. The verb 'ir' is only one of many irregular verbs to be learned in Spanish.
In the Spanish Easy Review quiz series, as was mentioned above, you learned how to conjugate verbs in the present tense. Here, in the Spanish Medium Review quiz series you will be learning how to conjugate verbs in the past tense. However, before venturing into that new area, now would be a good time to review the present tense form of verbs first.
At this point of your studies and the quizzes here on this site (if you have taken the quizzes in order), you should have over 105 verbs in your Spanish vocabulary to draw upon. If you would like to look back at the Spanish Easy Review quizzes and check over how to conjugate, please do so now as this introduction will not show you how each word is conjugated nor will it remind you of whether the verb is a regular verb or an irregular verb.
