This English quiz takes a first look at verbs. Verbs are primarily 'doing' words. It is easy to forget that sometimes verbs are 'being' words, too. Not every sentence has an action! Verbs are so important that it is impossible to have a sentence without one.

As you progress through school, you'll discover a lot more about verbs, but for now let's see how much you have remembered from your English lessons so far!
