Linking words and phrases are needed to make a piece of writing flow more smoothly. To do this, students need to get comfortable using these words and phrases. Some of these linking words and phrases include because, therefore, since and for example. They connect the opinions and reasons together. In this quiz, the students will either choose the best linking word that fits into the blank or they will choose the sentence that is written correctly.
