Grade 4 Language - Capital Letters 2
I loved our holiday in Canada. Countries are proper nouns and need a capital letter.

Grade 4 Language - Capital Letters 2

This English Language quiz is called 'Capital Letters 2' and it has been written by teachers to help you if you are studying the subject at elementary school. Playing educational quizzes is an enjoyable way to learn if you are in the 3rd, 4th or 5th grade - aged 8 to 11.

It costs only $12.50 per month to play this quiz and over 3,500 others that help you with your school work. You can subscribe on the page at Join Us

This quiz takes a further look at capital letters. If you've tried the first quiz on capital letters, you will know that capital letters are used for the beginnings of sentences and for proper nouns. Did you also know that proper nouns include the names of titles, days, months, countries and languages?

Remember that if a proper noun is at the beginning, middle or even end of a sentence, it will still require a capital letter. Many people are unsure whether seasons (such as autumn and winter) should be capitalized or not. As you can see from the previous sentence, they don’t need to be capitalized (and this might help you with one of our questions).

Challenge yourself further by trying this second Capital Letters quiz.
